Geoffrey Spohn Kyoshi- Dojo Cho

Shidoshi Spohn started his journey in the martial arts at the age of four.  As a child he was taught the fundamentals of karate and after earning his black belt, he knew that he was going to dedicate his life to the practice of the martial arts.

Since that time, Spohn has proven to be a fierce practitioner, training and studying multiple disciplines.  Today Shidoshi Spohn continues to train in his favorite art-  Shotokan.

As an instructor, Spohn believes in a principled approach to martial arts, which includes the development of personal character as well as physical strength.

His primary teaching goals are to motivate and inspire his students to be the best that they can be, while instilling respect, confidence, effective self-defense, and discipline.

His passion for the martial arts is apparent in every class he teaches.  His ability to reach children and adults alike has given him the opportunity to be a positive influence in the lives of many.
